New year, new me right? I always panic when December comes around, because right around the corner awaits New Years resolutions.
This year I’ll get healthy/fit, stop watching as much Netflix, win a million dollars…
Okay maybe one or two of those is a stretch.
I want to set realistic goals for myself this year! As a Military Spouse, it’s not uncommon to have no clue what to expect in this upcoming year so I want to set goals that can be achieved regardless. Here we go!
Cook dinner more often, and new recipes
Last year I challenged myself to cook more often, and this year I want to set a resolution to also cook new dishes! We sometimes get in a rut and I have so much fun in the kitchen, so if you have a fave recipe don’t be selfish! Ha ha! I love finding simple, yet delicious meals to make and see this year being a year of branching out.
I may be getting bold here, but I also want to create dishes that make great leftovers to pack for our lunches the next day! We get in a cycle of just grabbing fast food for our lunches, so this would be amazing to make happen.
Finish School
Okay, so I’ll probably never be fully finished. I am destined to be a forever student! But, I plan on graduating from my medical office administration program and possibly starting an Associate’s degree next! I really love school and completing a college program is something I get to do for myself, and build a career that will hold up in this Military life. (If you’re a spouse, you totally get it!!)
It’s important to me to show my daughter mama can go to college, and I want to prove that to her this year. 
Arrange our Military Memorabilia and Decor
Whether you have been a military spouse for a year or ten, you are bound to have at least one “military” related decor piece in your home. Other than the combat boots and gear littered throughout your house!
I want to find a way to display everything in our new home, and have a designated area for it!
