Long time no blog, I know. I went on a little hiatus and really focusing my time on family and work!
You guys work has been craziness. I have the amazing perk of being able to work completely from home, and it’s been so great being back. I started back at my job in May and it’s been an adjustment for sure.
At the beginning, I was afraid there was no way I could find a balance between working and momming, but I finally found my routine and it’s been great!
When I was just staying at home I really missed my coworkers and talking to people. You never realize how lonely stay at home mom life is, until you have a baby who is your only companion!
“How do you do it??”
I work during her good hours ha ha! While she’s eating, napping, or content with playing. I’ve learned when she’s fussy to just take a moment, step away, and give her my full attention. I feel so lucky I have such a great job where I can really be there fully for her.
Also, I just have to brag because I’m basically killing it over here. Even with everything going on, I am one of the top representatives and my hard work is really showing through! I have never been a competitive person, but I love setting personal goals and achieving them. I don’t get anything extra, but I just love knowing I am being able to help so many amazing people further their education.
When you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.
I love waking up in the morning, getting ready (something I rarely did just staying home), and starting my work day. I love to dress up and now I have a reason too- even if it’s only from the waist up on some days! (Work from home perks!!)
Everyday I feel so inspired and I love having creative freedom in my job. Social media is a huge passion of mine and I love just having an idea, and being able to execute it right away. I’ve been able to really explore social media marketing and content creating, which is something I owe starting this blog for sparking that in me.
I’ve really been able to be innovate and start trends even through my work family, so that’s been a really neat aspect as well. If y’all are a close friend, you know how much I love editing photos and doing flatlays! I get to do it daily, in a way I would’ve never imagined.
This post might have come off a little self centered, but I am just so proud of myself and how far I’ve come since last year. Last fall I was so overwhelmed and in a bad mindset. Now after returning to work I just feel so motivated and like I can take on the world. Thanks for reading and letting me blabber about a topic some might not care about!
I know a lot of fellow moms read my blog, and some work from home too, and I hope this post inspires you to keep on keeping on! Reevaluate what is important in life, and why we are hustling so we can provide for our babies!

Today, I went to the beach front with my children. I found
a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.”
She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a
