Easter is approaching soon and I feel like a pro mom for getting her basket ready, and it’s not the day before! Any other mamas last minute queens? With this being her year of firsts for holidays, I wanted to make sure to stay on the ball.

Easter has always been one of my favorites for a few reasons. I love the spring time, it’s my birthday month, I love remembering He is Risen, and lastly easter baskets! My mom would always make us the cutest baskets and hide them around the house. While she is a bit young for that now, I can’t wait to carry on that tradition.

Now you may be thinking, you have a baby… What are you going to put in her basket when Easter baskets are normally filled with candy eggs and marshmallow chicks?

What is an Easter without bunny ears? A boring one! I love these sweet bunny ears and she actually tolerated them which was a miracle in itself.

I feel like wind up bunnies and chicks have been around for so long, and it was one of my favorite toys to get in my basket growing up. I knew I had to include it for her! I couldn’t help myself but we already started playing with it and she thinks it’s the funniest thing! Last minute I threw in these adorable bunny shoes because they melted my heart and needed to be a part of our Easter Day!

When it came to the basket I wanted to be resourceful and use something we can also use year round. I wasn’t too stoked to have to store a giant handle basket, so this was a great alternative! A stackable set of cups was the perfect activity to add, and the colors were so colorful and perfect for spring. I filled it with some pink shredded paper to make it feel more like an Easter basket, and it was more environmental friendly than the traditional plastic grass.

Now you may be wondering, what do you fill Easter eggs with if you don’t use candy?!

Gerber Yogurt Melts are the perfect solution!!! They fit great in these eggs and not to mention she loved hearing them shake. We have the strawberry flavor but they also have blueberry!

I am so excited for Easter to come and for her to dig into all of these goodies on Easter morning!
