After you have your tiny human, your old life seems like a daze and you’ll regret not taking more naps when you could. Motherhood is a funny thing, and sometimes you just have to laugh when things come your way. I put together a short, Things Moms Understand that hopefully you can relate to in one way or another.

Being a mother is the greatest blessing don’t get me wrong. I think as mothers seeing that other moms live this messy life is all the reassurance we need. It’s so easy to look to social media nowadays and think, “man, I want her life”.

Comparison is the thief of joy.

Remember that. You are doing an amazing job and no one can be a mother like you. We all get little sleep at some point, have blow outs on our favorite outfits, and you’d be lying if you said you haven’t devoured food in the middle of the night because you forgot to eat earlier. (We’ve been there. And chocolate is better at 3 am.) Even those picture perfect moms have these moments, so let’s all celebrate and enjoy this #momlife.
