Oh sweet summertime! A time filled with family, road trips, and yummy snacks and we are lucky enough to experience all of this at once. Every summer we plan trips to visit both of our families. We are both from different neighboring states, which makes the summertime filled with long hours in the car.
Our first year of marriage, this was a dreaded road trip I’ll be honest! But, this has quickly become my favorite time spent with my husband.

Spending an entire day or two in the car together has been a great summer memory and ritual for us. We talk, laugh, sing, and of course you can’t forget the many pit stops you make along the way! With me being pregnant this summer, we take a lot more stops than usual. Sure it adds a few hours to the trip, but it’s good to get out and stretch your legs to keep your energy up.
With a baby on the way, I’ve been looking forward to stocking up on yummy snacks for the trip. We stopped and grabbed Snyder’s of Hanover® Pretzels and Cape Cod® Potato Chips, because I wanted to be mindful of what I’m snacking on and choose healthier, better for you treats. We are both huge snackers, and love to try out different flavors together! What is your favorite Cape Cod Potato Chip flavor? (we are loving the salt and vinegar!)

During our road trips, I realized this is the last trip we will be taking before we are a family of three. It’s kind of bittersweet because I love this precious time with my hubby, but also very exciting because we will now have our little one in the back with Pepper and making even more family memories!
I am looking forward to our future summer road trips and all the new memories we will create with our growing family! I see a lot of pit stops, fun car memories, and yummy snacks in our future and I couldn’t be more excited.
