How to Prepare Your Guest Bathroom for the Holidays

I have been working hard on getting my guest bathroom perfected, and it is finally finished! We will be having my family over for the holidays so I wanted to share how I got my guest bathroom from a dirty, bland bathroom, to a guest bathroom dream! Not only will I be sharing some sweet touches you will want to add, but also cleaning tips so it’s sparkly clean before and after your guests visit.

First off, I like to leave towels and hand towels out for my guests which is kind of a must have! I folded the towels on this little vanity stool to serve as a storage spot for when they get in and out of the shower. It is not only handy but looks very cute! My overall theme for the guest bathroom is vintage and girly. I am all about subtle touches, especially because this is a smaller bathroom and I want to maximize the space!

You want to leave a lot of counter space for your guests to be able to do their usual routines, like hair, makeup, shaving, etc. I have this cute little leopard seat for toiletries in case my guests forget some things. This will give you extra hostess points because providing common things that guests could forget like toothpaste, conditioner, makeup remover, toothbrush etc will be super helpful after days of travelling. I also like to have a variety, so a great way to build up a stash is to take hotel samples!

Lastly, remember this is your guest’s temporary home away from home. Make it feel as inviting and luxurious as possible! I found a fun way to have the toilet paper, added in some fun art work, and adding a wall plug in to top it off with a great Christmas scent!
