Pesto Chicken Pasta

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb chicken breast
  • 1 jar Barilla Pesto sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
Items Added at the End
  • 4 cups egg noodles
  • 1 cup mozzarella
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese

Equipment

  • slow cooker
  • Pot

Method
 

  1. Season chicken with salt and pepper, and add to the crockpot
  2. Cover with the Barilla pesto sauce, and top with butter in small slices
  3. Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6
  4. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, cook the noodles
  5. Shred the chicken and add in the cooked pasta and top with the cheese
  6. Cover the crockpot and cook for another 15 minutes for the cheese to melt, then serve.
