While the military life took a front seat recently, I have been working more on my self-care time. It’s exciting to get back to “me” and feel good again! I have been loving a few things on my beauty counter lately that I wanted to share with you all if you are looking to splurge on great products without actually breaking the bank.
Dae Shampoo and Conditioner
I recently switched my shampoo to Dae, and holy moly have I noticed the difference! I LOVE the smell of this shampoo, and also I have noticed my hair feeling healthier. It smells like citrus and literally makes me happy since it’s so cold here! I have followed Amber Fillerup (the owner) for years and I have never been disappointed with her recommendations, so I knew this would be a good purchase!
St. Moritz Self Tanner
I am a self-tanner snob, and keep coming back to St. Moritz and trying out their different products! Lately, I have loved their developing tanning mousse for a nice glow during these dark winter months. I love this tanner because there are no streaks, and it doesn’t transfer to my clothes. I typically like to put it on the start of the day, and then shower end of the day so I get a nice rich tan.
L’ange
I received this L’ange straightener a few years ago, and it’s been wonderful. I bought a curling iron more recently thinking it would be better, but I keep going back to this straightener to get the perfect waves!! It works so well with my hair type and has yet to disappoint. I highly recommend checking their site often, as there is usually a mega deal going on.
Olive and June Nail Polish
Since the pandemic, I have tried to do our nails from home a lot more. I received a PR box from Olive and June a few months ago, and we have been hooked since! (by we I mean myself and my two toddler girls!)
They are one of the sweetest companies I have connected with, and their product is one I tell everyone about when I can. They have great quality nail polishes, but also recently expanded to press-on nails too.
Dior Lipstick
This one was more of a “splurge” but I desperately needed new lipsticks after my toddlers got their hands on every single one I owned haha! I received a lip set for Christmas and these are the most creamy lipsticks I have ever tried. I am so impressed, and I have a variety of colors that are new to me and so fun to play with.
