I recently received a Nani Swimsuit and I had to share this with my fellow ladies who like high coverage to test if it is really worth it.
I love soaking in the days by the water, and my swimsuit collection has grown quickly during my time as a mom. With my fluctuating size after two kids, it never feels like I can find a flattering swimsuit that covers everything I’d like. I love a cute swimsuit, but I also like to feel like I’m not going to have any fashion mishaps!
This swimsuit is perfect for those who want to feel comfortable and confident because holy moly was I impressed when I put this on.
Sustainability
I feel it’s special to find a brand that thinks about the environment too, and Nani Swimwear is sustainable! All of their swimsuits are made from recycled plastic bottles. It’s even designed to provide UPF 50 protection, so you can stay safe while soaking up the sun.
Fit of the Swimsuit
Ok, now to the nitty gritty which I’m sure most of you want to know. The square neckline and full coverage bottoms ensure that you won’t have to constantly adjust your swimsuit or worry about any wardrobe malfunctions. There is also a fun cutout detail that is high enough to look flattering and not cling to my hips.
But just because this swimsuit has high coverage doesn’t mean it sacrifices style. I feel like most high-coverage options we can choose from are either just long sleeves or longer shorts. Nani nails it with the style of most popular swimsuits but with a modest twist.
The top gives me the feeling of a sports bra and feels very supportive. The square neckline and material combined give favors to most chest sizes. If you are smaller-chested, the swimsuit will fit great on you. If you are larger-chested, it truly does feel nice and secure. It has a built-in bra and also removable cups. When I bend over, it doesn’t feel like anything is going to fall out (if you know, you know!).
The patchwork design makes this swimsuit a statement piece! I honestly could see this paired with a cute pair of shorts or with an open white button-down and worn into beach restaurants that normally don’t allow swimsuits due to being too revealing. It’s such a cute cut that it could even pass for a tank top. Nani has a color option for everyone, but if you know me the blue and white combo is my obsession.
Sizes and Price of Nani Swimsuit
Nani’s price point is honestly pretty reasonable for the quality you are getting. The one I am wearing is their “Denim Patchwork One Piece” and it sells for $100. Their size range is one I haven’t seen from a lot of online swimsuit companies! They go from xxs to xxl which is so wonderful to cater to a bigger variety of sizes than I’ve seen at other stores. I am personally 5’2 and between a small and medium, so I went with a medium and it’s a perfect fit.
The sizing chart goes by bra band size which is very helpful when determining what size would be best for you. You can also shop by coverage and mix and match styles and sizes with their two-piece options.
